Abstract
MÉTODO PARA REDUÇÃO DA MIGRAÇÃO DE UM ELETRÓLITO EM UMA BATERIA BIPOLAR DE CHUMBO ÁCIDO, BATERIA BIPOLAR DE CHUMBO ÁCIDO. A bateria bipolar de chumbo ácido compreende um separador resistente à compressão no qual o eletrólito é retido em forma gelificada, e em que os eletrodos quase bipolares são mantidos em um empilhamento de células sob pressão. Mais preferencialmente, o material ativo negativo ainda inclui uma estrutura de espaçamento resistente à compressão e a bateria é configurada como uma VR-BLAB em que cada uma das células pode ventilar gases independentemente durante o ciclo de carregamento.
