Abstract
conector e método para operação de conector para fluidos médicos. é descrito um conector que inclui um alojamento da válvula que compreende uma base de alojamento da válvula e uma tampa de válvula, em que o alojamento da válvula que define uma porta de entrada, e uma porta de saída, em que o alojamento da válvula inclui ainda uma rota de fluido a partir da porta de entrada para a porta de saída, uma rota de fluido que inclui um canal formado em uma parede interna do alojamento da válvula. uma inserção da válvula no alojamento da válvula define uma cavidade arredondada vedada pelo diafragma, de forma que a cavidade arredondada vedada forma um volume interno no alojamento da válvula. um plugue de válvula operável faz a vedação da porta de entrada quando o conector está e m um estado não ativado dessa forma fechando uma rota de fluido através do conector. mediante o acionamento do conector o plugue de válvula deforma o diafragma para dentro do volume dessa forma conector o plugue de válvula deforma o diafragma para dentro do volume dessa forma rompendo a vedação da porta de entrada e abrindo uma rota de fluido através do conector. devido à disposição dos plugues de válvula, inserção da válvula e diafragma, o conector tem um baixo volume de priming e tem características de um deslocamento de fluido positivo mediante o acionamento.
