EQUIPAMENTO PARA COMUNICAçãO COM UM TUBO DE PERFURAçãO A CABO, E MéTODO PARA POSICIONAR UM 'SUB' DE COMUNICAçãO DENTRO DA EXTREMIDADE DE RECEBIMENTO DE UM TUBO DE PERFURAçãO A CABO. Aspectos da invenção fornecem de modo geral um método e equipamento para acoplamento de um 'sub' de comunicação a um tubo de perfuração a cabo. Em um aspecto, uma superfície de um cabeçote de acoplamento é não-rosqueado e configurado para fornecer e manter força. Em um outro aspecto, um cabeçote de acoplamento é acoplado a um corpo, e um mecanismo de suporte é acoplado ao corpo e configurado para fixar o cabeçote de acoplamento dentro de uma extremidade de recebimento do tubo de perfuração a cabo.
