Abstract

processo e dispositivo para esmerilhar um produto de fundição contínua. a presente invenção se refere a um processo para esmerilhar um produto de fundição contínua (1), especialmente um lingote, sendo que o produto de fundição contínua, em corte, apresenta um cotorno em formato retangular com dois lados longos (2, 3) opostos e dois lados curtos (4, 5) opostos, sendo que ao menos os lados longos (2, 3), por meio de ao menos uma ferramenta de esmerilhar (6), são submetidos a uma usinagem de superfície. para poder realizar uma qualidade mais alta no produto de fundição contínua e para poder coletar de modo simples as limalhas do esmerilhamento, a invenção prevê que no esmerilhamento de um lado longo (2, 3) do produto de fundição contínua (1), este produto de fundição contínua (1) seja posicionado de tal modo por um encaixe (7) que o plano normal da superfície (8) encerre no lado longo (2, 3) do produto de fundição contínua (1), com o plano vertical (v), um ângulo agudo (alfa) superior a zero grau. além disso, a invenção se refere a um dispositivo para esmerilhamento de um produto de fundição contínua (1).
