Abstract

acoplamento oue tem superfícies de rebordo orientadas de forma angular. um acoplamento de tubo mecânico é formado por segmentos afixados extremidade com extremidade para circundarem um espaço central. cada segmento tem uma cavidade que se estende circunferencialmente voltada para o espaço central flanqueada por chavetas arqueadas as quais se projetam em direção ao espaço central. duas superfícies de rebordo arqueadas são posicionadas em cada segmento. as superfícies de rebordo arqueadas se voltam para o espaço central e são posicionadas em uma relação espaçada em lados opostos da cavidade entre a cavidade e as chavetas arqueadas. as superfícies de rebordo arqueadas são orientadas de forma angular com respeito a um eixo geométrico perpendicular a um plano contendo os segmentos. o acoplamento é usado para acoplamento dos elementos de tubo tendo um anel circunferencial localizado nas extremidades dos elementos de tubo. a orientação angular das superfícies de rebordo arqueadas provê flexibilidade à junta. um método de junção de elementos de tubo tendo anéis circunferenciais também é mostrado.
