bioimplante. patente de invenção pertencente ao campo dos instrumentos cirúrgicos, dispositivos ou métodos para osteossíntese, por ex.; placas ósseas, parafusos, pinos ou semelhantes, e compreende dispositivos a serem implantados na cavidade oral, coluna vertebral, face, ou qualquer outra região do corpo humano, os quais apresentam uma distribuição diferenciada das espiras - que são providas de roscas longitudinais com porção cortante em toda a sua extensão e não somente na extremidade - que acaba por reduzir suas dimensões, aumentar indicação de uso, diminuir a quantidade de material ósseo removido durante a instalação e reduzir a indicação e realização de enxertos ásseos.
