The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration, ornamentation and pattern of a food slicer having an upper section and a lower section; the upper section has a smooth curved rear end which extends forwards and merges into generally identical arcuate raised sides situated on either side of a recessed cutting surface; the arcuate raised sides have curved outer surfaces and flat beveled inner surfaces which merge into the side edges of the recessed cutting surface; the raised sides of the upper section gradually taper inwards and merge into a handle-like section forward of the recessed cutting surface; the handle-like section has inwardly curved sides, a rounded front end, and a upper surface and a lower surface extending between the inwardly curved sides thereof; a groove extends along opposite sides of the handle-like section following generally the contour of the handle-like section and merging into a generally bi-convex opening situated adjacent the front end of the food slicer; the handle-like section has laterally extending grooves on the upper surface thereof; the handle-like section has a groove situated about midway between the upper and lower surfaces of the handle-like section; the groove extends across the front end of the handle-like section and then along the sides thereof to a location where opposite ends of the groove bend downwards to the bottom surface of the handle-like section; the recessed cutting surface is generally flat and has a flat generally rectangular element thereon which is situated part way along the length of the cutting surface; the generally rectangular element extends laterally between the beveled inner surfaces of the arcuate raised sides; the flat element has generally parallel side edges and a series of generally equally spaced-apart flat circular protuberances thereon; adjacent the forward edge of the flat element is a slot in the top surface having a series of very closely spaced-apart generally identical and very small elements therein; the recessed cutting surface has longitudinally extending elongated grooves on the surface thereof situated adjacent curved rear end of the upper section; the curved rear end of the upper section has an elongated laterally extending projection which is situated adjacent the edge where the upper section merges into the lower section, the projection having a flat outer surface and rounded ends; the curved rear end of the upper section merges smoothly into a transparent lower section of the food slicer; the transparent lower section curves forwards and upwards to the lower surface of the handle-like section; the lower section has transparent side surfaces which diverge slightly outwards away from the bottom surface of the transparent lower section and merge into the lower surface of the upper section of the food slicer; the lower surface of the upper section has a generally rectangular element adjacent the front edge of the transparent lower section of the food slicer.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a rear perspective view from the left side and above of the design of the food slicer;Fig. 2 is a front perspective view from the left side and above of the design of the food slicer;Fig. 3 is a left side elevation view of the design of the food slicer;Fig. 4 is a front end view thereof;Fig. 5 is a rear end view thereof;Fig. 6 is a top plan view thereof; andFig. 7 is a bottom plan view thereof.Diagrams of the design are included.
