Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration, ornamentation and pattern of a wheel for an automobile having a hub portion, a rim portion and five identical rib structures extending radially from the hub portion to the rim portion; the rib structures and the inner surface of the rim portion define five identical shield-like openings in the wheel; each opening has outwardly diverging sides, a generally straight inner edge and a slightly curved outer edge in elevation view and each opening has curved corners and beveled surfaces; each rib structure has a flat surface which merges into a flat surface of the hub portion; a central radially extending narrow portion extends along the flat surface of the hub portion and centrally along the rib portion from a central circular area of the hub portion to the rim portion; the narrow raised portions have flat upper surfaces which gradually increase in height as they extend radially outwards and each raised portion merges through a widened transition area into the rim portion.The stippled lines appearing in the drawings do not form part of the design.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a front elevation view of the design of a wheel for an automobile;Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 3 is a side elevation view thereof; andFig. 4 is a right front perspective view of the design of the wheel for an automobile.Diagrams of the design are included.
