Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the base for a fire detector as shown in the drawings; the base for the fire detector presents a circular configuration in front view with an angled flange portion front surface and a central generally circular open area therein; the flange portion presents two peripheral forwardly projecting guide walls extending part way around the central generally circular open area and a short raised peripheral ridge extending between the guide walls; within the circular open area is a recessed annular ring-like element having radially inwardly extending spaced apart arc-like projections; the base for the fire detector also presents a generally cylindrical side wall with a series of small spaced-apart generally identical rectangular openings therein adjacent the flange portion; the base for the fire detector presents a generally flat rear surface with a pair of aligned oblong areas with raised peripheral ridges situated close to oblong openings in the rear surface and one of the oblong areas having a keyhole-opening situated along the side thereof; the first variant of the base for the fire detector present a small circular opening in the angled flange portion front surface thereof.
