Abstract
L'invention est constituée par des constructions compactes d'antennes microruban à large bande. Chacune des constructions de l'invention comprend un matériau diélectrique (32, 62) portant le microruban sur l'une de ses faces et un tapis de sol sur l'autre. Une première construction est constituée d'un réseau compact d'éléments d'antenne (63-70) déphasés électriquement les uns par rapport aux autres pour exciter un ou plusieurs modes d'antenne en spirale. Une seconde construction est constituée d'un ou plusieurs éléments d'antenne montés sur un substrat magnétique (73) dont la permittivité relative est approximativement égale à sa perméabilité relative. Dans une troisième construction, l'antenne microruban fonctionne dans un seul mode, les autres modes étant supprimés par une variation de l'espace au-dessus du tapis de sol dans les zones de rayonnement choisie de telle façon que le rayonnement ne puisse être engendré que dans les zones désirées. Dans une quatrième construction, un élément d'antenne en spirale (21) est espacé du tapis de sol d'une distance allant de 1/60 à 1/2 longueur d'onde sur toute l'étendue d'une gamme de fréquences de travail multioctave. r 1,0 dans le substrat (32) et l'antenne est alimentée par un réseau à impédance adaptée quasi parfaitement.
