Abstract

La méthode de prospection sismique selon l'invention de type PSV ou PSV inverse, permet de minimiser les perturbations qu'apportent aux enregistrements sismiques, les ondes de tube qui se propagent le long de puits et se réfractent dans les zones proches de la surface. Elle comporte la dispersion de gaz sous pression peu ou pas soluble dans le fluide contenu dans les puits, ce gaz ayant une compressibilité élevée de préférence, capable d'absorber ces ondes guidées. Il peut s'agir d'un gaz généré par une réaction chimique déclenchée in situ à une certaine profondeur du puits et notamment par une charge explosive (pouvant constituer la source d'ondes sismiques) ou d'un gaz injecté dans du liquide de forage et qui remonte dans l'annulaire entre une colonne de forage et le puits. Application à la prospection sismique ou à l'écoute de bruits de forage.
