Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé d'exploitation d'un système informatique, en particulier d'un micro-ordinateur équipé d'une mémoire partagée entre plusieurs programmes d'applications. Ledit procédé comprend un processus de sauvegarde comportant un processus conçu pour conserver un enregistrement des modifications apportées aux données dans la mémoire pendant l'exécution de la sauvegarde. L'enregistrement sert à faire en sorte que les données lues par le processus de sauvegarde ne changent pas pendant l'exécution tout en permettant à d'autres processus de continuer à mettre à jour la mémoire normalement, empêchant ainsi des retards liés aux techniques de verrouillage de fichiers. Les opérations supplémentaires sont exécutées au niveau de l'interface du système d'exploitation du micro-ordinateur de façon à ne pas affecter l'utilisation normale de l'ordinateur.
