Abstract
L'invention concerne une machine à deux toiles qui permet de réaliser un papier épais ou une bande de carton. Une caisse de tête (1) est disposée au début d'une trajectoire sensiblement horizontale d'une toile inférieure (S1) continue, afin d'alimenter la machine avec une suspension circulant sous forme de courant. Des éléments de guidage (9, 6, 6a, 9a) prévus pour une toile supérieure (S2) sans fin sont montés de manière à ce que la toile supérieure soit en contact (point de contact K) avec la suspension (se trouvant sur la toile inférieure mobile), à faible distance de la caisse de tête (1). Les deux toiles (S1, S2) forment conjointement une zone de filtration à deux toiles au moins approximativement droite et sensiblement horizontale. Il est prévu plusieurs lattes successives qui partent directement de l'arrière du point de contact (K), sur la face intérieure de chacune des deux toiles et qui s'étendent transversalement par rapport au sens d'avancement de la bande. Ces lattes comprennent des lattes fixes (6) situées sur une (S2) des toiles et des lattes élastiques (3) situées sur l'autre toile (S1).
