Abstract

La courroie se compose d'une attache qui peut s'ouvrir et se fixer à une ceinture, à un passant de ceinture ou à d'autres parties de vêtement, et d'un oeillet fixé au portefeuille au moyen d'une attache filetée qui est passée par un trou pratiqué dans le pourtour du portefeuille. Le portefeuille peut ainsi être ouvert et son contenu être accessible sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'enlever la courroie du portefeuille. Un cordon allongé et souple s'étend de la ganse du vêtement à l'oeillet du portefeuille. Le cordon peut être non métallique, de manière à utiliser une quantité minimale de métal et à éviter qu'il soit nécessaire de l'enlever pour passer dans un détecteur de métal. De préférence, les bouts du cordon sont fixés à l'attache ouvrable et à l'oeillet du portefeuille au moyen de raccords sertis, pour assurer résistance, durabilité et économie de fabrication.
