Abstract
La présente invention a pour objet des structures d'électrodes qui peuvent être adaptées pour des éléments à plaques électrochimiques primaires et électriquement rechargeables. Un élément à plaques plates se compose de couches externes polymères, remplies de carbone et conductrices, qui servent de contacts d'électrodes et de conteneur de l'élément. Il est possible de construire des accumulateurs à plusieurs éléments, présentant une tension supérieure, en empilant des éléments individuels. Des électrodes spécialement formulées et des techniques de traitement compatibles avec la construction de l'élément à plaques sont décrites pour un système d'accumulateur hybride nickel-métal. L'invention concerne, en outre, la fabrication d'électrodes à partir d'un matériau électrochimiquement actif, obtenu en recouvrant de nickel des particules peu ou non conductrices d'hydroxyde de métal ou de poudre d'oxyde de métal, selon un procédé de nickelage sans courant. La conception de l'élément et les formulations des électrodes assurent le fonctionnement individuel d'un élément scellé de manière étanche, à faible pression ou dégazé et/ou le fonctionnement de ces éléments dans un ensemble empilé dans un logement extérieur d'accumulateurs.
