Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de matière en feuille fibreuse qui consiste à disposer à sec des fibres cellulosiques sur un support se déplaçant en continu de manière à former une couche sur ce dernier, à mouiller suffisamment ladite couche de manière à provoquer la formation de liaisons jusqu'à un certain degré voulu. La matière en feuille fibreuse ainsi produite peut éventuellement être encore traitée ou finie par des procédés connus de manière à obtenir une grande variété de produits finis. Pour mener à bien ce procédé on utilise un appareil qui, dans un mode de réalisation préféré, comporte un distributeur de fibres posées à sec monté au-dessus de la toile poreuse d'une machine à papier du type par voie humide.
