Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de polymérisation ou copolymérisation d'au moins un monomère polymérisable par voie radicalaire en présence d'un radical libre stable de la famille des nitroxydes. Le radical libre stable est .beta.-substitué et procure un excellent contrôle de la polydispersité tout en assurant une meilleure vitesse de polymérisation ou copolymérisation, si on les compare avec les radicaux libres stables mis en oeuvre par l'art antérieur.
