Abstract

On utilise efficacement des porphyrines vertes comme agents photosensibles dans la thérapie photodynamique des pathologies de l'oeil se caractérisant par une néovascularisation indésirable, telle la dégénérescence maculaire. Les porphyrines verts sont également efficaces dans la thérapie photodynamique des tumeurs pigmentées de l'oeil. En outre, les porphyrines vertes servent de colorants efficaces pour effectuer l'angiographie oculaire.
