Abstract

L'invention concerne un capteur (9) comprenant un hologramme (17) placé sur un milieu (10) de support holographique ou à l'intérieur de celui-ci. Une espèce à détecter réagit avec une substance répartie dans tout le capteur (9). Eventuellement, on a réparti sur une partie ou sur la totalité du capteur (9) un produit chimique réagissant avec une espèce à détecter ou avec un conjugué de liaison spécifique d'une espèce à détecter. Cette(ces) réaction(s) provoque(nt) un (des) changement(s) dans l'hologramme (17) ou dans le milieu (10) de support holographique, lequel à son tour change une ou plusieurs des caractéristiques optiques de l'hologramme (17). Le changement provoqué dans les caractéristiques optiques de l'hologramme (17) et/ou du milieu (10) de support holographique, donne de préférence naissance à un décalage de longueur d'onde dans le rayonnement incident. Le changement du paramètre optique est fonction de l'espèce à détecter. Les avantages de ce capteur résident en ce que celui-ci est bon marché, facile à fabriquer et, une fois calibré, fiable et robuste.
