Abstract

L'invention est un système de découpage permettant à l'utilisateur de sélectionner une partie d'un second signal vidéo en vue d'une fusion avec une image principale ou d'une insertion dans une telle image. Le signal découpé ou second signal n'est dégradé d'aucune façon par une compression ou tout autre procédé de traitement numérique; il ne comprend qu'une partie quelconque de la seconde image qui est sélectionnée par l'utilisateur et insérée à un endroit quelconque de l'image principale. Par rapport aux méthodes d'incrustation et de superposition d'images actuelles, le système et la méthode de l'invention ont l'avantage de ne nécessiter aucun dispositif électronique complexe et coûteux.
