Abstract

Bâton de hockey dont le talon a une paire de côtés étroits opposés, une paire de côtés larges opposés, un bout arrière, une partie bout avant et un axe longitudinal passant par lesdits bouts, la partie bout avant étant configurée de façon à pouvoir recevoir une lame, l'amélioration étant que le talon comprend un élément composite sandwich qui s'étend longitudinalement. L'élément sandwich comprend trois zones de substances s'étendant longitudinalement. Les zones de substance comprennent une zone tampon en mousse plastique rigide et deux zones latérales en bois. La zone tampon est interposée entre les zones latérales. Les trois zones de substance sont configurées et disposées de telle façon que chaque zone latérale fait face individuellement au côté respectif de l'une des paires de côtés opposés du talon et que, ensemble, les deux zones latérales et la zone tampon font face chacune aux deux autres paires de côtés opposés du talon.
