Abstract

Appareil permettant d'obturer rapidement et de manière fiable une ouverture sélectionnée (2) par rapport à un écoulement adjacent de fumée, de gaz nocifs ou d'air contaminé. Cet appareil comprend un rouleau (24) de matière (26) transparente, renforcée et résistante à la température, aux produits chimiques ou aux rayonnements, qui comporte de chaque côté des bandes (28) latérales magnétiques souples, monté et centré au-dessus de l'ouverture (2). Le rouleau est amené à tomber verticalement devant l'ouverture, tandis que les bandes (28) latérales souples et magnétisées sont simultanément sollicitées pour se fixer rapidement et magnétiquement sur des rails (34) latéraux ferromagnétiques ou un encadrement de porte ferromagnétique utilisé pour les portes coupe-feu, et pour se dilater sous l'effet de la pression tout en maintenant l'étanchéité de l'ouverture (2) par rapport à l'air. Cet appareil est remarquablement simple et fiable aussi bien au regard de sa construction que de son fonctionnement, et présente un excellent rapport prix/performance.
