Abstract

Un ensemble mobile (1) chargeur convoyeur/applicateur-imprimante d'étiquettes conçu pour charger des articles (12) sur un convoyeur comporte un châssis (20) monté de sorte qu'il soit mobile le long d'un chemin (14) de convoyeur, et un contrôleur (76). Le contrôleur reçoit les données d'un ordinateur central qui spécifie l'article à sélectionner et actionne un moteur de commande (36) pour déplacer l'ensemble jusqu'à l'emplacement du casier sélectionné. La quantité d'articles à collecter apparaît pour l'utilisateur sur un écran à tube cathodique (78). Des capteurs (66) détectent le profil des articles à charger sur le convoyeur et transmettent ces données au contrôleur. Le contrôleur vérifie que l'article approprié a été sélectionné, et une étiqueteuse (65) imprime et applique une étiquette (13) sur chaque article.
