Abstract
Un support de données optiques présente une paire de pistes hélicoïdales orientées dans des sens opposés qui peuvent être lues séquentiellement ou simultanément. Lorsqu'elles doivent être lues simultanément, les informations y sont enregistrées selon une densité spatiale uniforme et démodulées en un flux de données commun. Les têtes de lecture des pistes sont équidistantes par rapport à un rayon médian et se déplacent sur le support à une vitesse radiale constante afin de présenter une vitesse de lecture de données combinée pratiquement constante.
