Abstract

Cette invention concerne un additif qui peut être incorporé à un béton, à un mortier ou à un coulis, ledit additif comportant au moins une matière adjuvante dans une unité compactée en quantité sélectionnée, l'unité étant suffisamment résistante pour maintenir l'intégrité structurale lors de la manipulation et du stockage mais offrant une solubilité ou une friabilité suffisante lors d'une agitation mécanique dans l'environnement de mélange humide d'une composition cimentaire pour se dissoudre ou se fragmenter de manière à se disperser uniformément à l'intérieur de la composition cimentaire. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation d'un mélange cimentaire qui consiste à utiliser comme ingrédients i) au moins une composition cimentaire, ii) au moins une matière adjuvante et iii) un liquide, la matière adjuvante comportant au moins une unité compactée qui est suffisamment résistante pour maintenir l'intégrité structurale lors de la manipulation et du stockage mais qui offre une solubilité ou une friabilité suffisante lors d'une agitation mécanique dans un environnement de mélange humide d'une composition cimentaire pour se dissoudre ou se fragmenter de manière à se disperser uniformément à l'intérieur de la composition cimentaire, à combiner les ingrédients i), ii) et iii) et à mélanger dans n'importe quel ordre pour dissoudre ou fragmenter l'unité compactée de façon à disperser sensiblement la matière adjuvante au sein des autres ingrédients.
