Abstract
L'invention se rapporte à un système et à un procédé de détection de défaillances dans un dispositif d'enregistrement (38) placé dans un véhicule (12) équipé d'au moins un capteur embarqué (48) de contrôle d'un ou plusieurs paramètres de fonctionnement du véhicule (12). Le dispositif d'enregistrement (38) est utilisé pour collecter les données de fonctionnement du véhicule produites par les capteurs (48). Une mise en oeuvre de cette technique de détection de défaillances consiste à mémoriser une valeur de durée courante à intervalles réguliers pendant les périodes durant lesquelles le dispositif d'enregistrement dispose d'une source d'énergie principale. On détermine les différences de valeurs de durée entre deux valeurs de durée consécutives mémorisées, les différences de durée étant comparées à une valeur maximum prédéterminée. Une défaillance, due à une perte d'alimentation, est consignée lorsqu'au moins une des différences de durée dépasse la valeur maximum prédéterminée. L'existence d'une défaillance, due à une perte d'alimentation, peut être communiquée à une station de commande centrale (18) par le dispositif d'enregistrement (38).
