Abstract

Préparation lyophilisée d'une composition à base d'eau se transformant de manière réversible en gel sous l'effet de la chaleur, comprenant une dose efficace d'un médicament, 0,2 à 2,1 % (poids/volume) d'une méthylcellulose (contenant 26 à 33 % de groupes méthoxyle), 1,2 à 2,3 % (poids/volume) d'acide citrique et 0,5 à 13 % (poids/volume) de polyéthylène glycol. Ladite préparation permet à un médicament sensible à l'humidité de conserver sa stabilité jusqu'au moment de l'utilisation et peut être convertie en une composition qui se transforme en gel de manière réversible sous l'action de la chaleur losrqu'elle est appliquée sur la partie affectée par l'ajout d'une quantité adéquate d'un solvant.
