Abstract

Un dispositif de protection (1) de hanche, ayant la forme d'un dôme de façon à recouvrir une partie de la hanche correspondant au niveau du col du fémur, est flexible et présente également une résistance à la compression uniforme, spécifique, ainsi qu'une résistance à la compression latérale. Par conséquent, le dispositif de protection de la hanche se déforme élastiquement selon un impact donné de sorte qu'une cavité (12) se trouvant entre le dispositif de protection (1) et la partie de la hanche soit réduite, ce qui a pour effet d'absorber les chocs et de résister à ceux-ci. En conséquence, le dispositif de protection (1) de la hanche est efficace pour éviter une fracture du col du fémur dans une chute.
