Abstract

L'invention décrit des couvercles rabattants articulés horizontalement (47) destinés à être utilisés dans des plafonds ou planchers, hautement résistants au feu et qui se ferment automatiquement en cas d'incendie. Ladite trappe (47) fait intervenir de préférence une construction multicouche comprenant une couche inférieure (interne) intumescente (48), une couche de structure intermédiaire et une couche supérieure (externe) faite d'un matériau à base de ciment. La trappe articulée horizontalement (47) fait intervenir un système de fermeture automatique en cas d'incendie comprenant une pièce fusible (21) qui actionne une source de gaz comprimé (44) pour fermer la trappe (47), laquelle source de gaz comprimé (44) est automatiquement purgée lorsque la trappe (47) est fermée pour prévenir l'explosion de ladite source (44). La pièce fusible (21) commande (ouvre) également une vanne hydraulique (40) pour permettre l'écoulement d'un fluide hydraulique d'un corps pneumatique/hydraulique (11) utilisé avec une tige mobile (12) pour ouvrir et fermer la trappe (47).
