Abstract

La divulgation décrit un système qui, en combinaison avec une unité de sciage ou de découpage d'équarris, sert à guider des équarris deux-faces durant la coupe le long de la ligne de leur courbe naturelle. Le système comprend, du côté alimentation ainsi que du côté évacuation de l'unité, des moyens de rouleaux déplaçables latéralement qui pressent les faces planes opposées de l'équarri et lui transmettent un mouvement de pivotement dans le plan horizontal pendant que la coupe progresse, amenant ainsi les scies ou les couteaux à suivre une courbe contrôlée en rapport avec la courbe naturelle dudit équarri.
