Abstract
Cette invention porte sur un procédé amélioré et l'appareil correspondant permettant de produire un câble à fibres optiques à base de polymère fibreux ainsi que des fibres optiques à gradient d'indice. Le polymère peut se présenter sous n'importe quelle forme, y compris, mais sans se limiter à cette énumération, sous forme de feuille, de film ou de câble. Cette invention porte également sur des fibres optiques polymères améliorées dans lesquelles entrent des compositions changeant la longueur d'onde du rayonnement pour convertir le rayonnement ultraviolet ou les rayons X ou encore le rayonnement infrarouge en rayonnement visible.
