Abstract
Ce procédé sert à détecter une substance biologique dans un échantillon. Ce procédé consiste à liquéfier l'échantillon (si nécessaire) et à verser l'échantillon ainsi liquéfié dans la plaque d'incubation. Cette plaque d'incubation possède une surface horizontale généralement plate et cette surface est divisée en au moins 20 puits creux. Chaque puits est conçu pour contenir une aliquote d'un liquide et sa grandeur et sa forme ainsi que sa constitution en un matériau approprié sont telles qu'il peut contenir l'aliquote grâce à sa tension de surface. Tout liquide excédentaire provenant de l'échantillon liquéfié est versé depuis la surface de la plaque. Ledit procédé consiste ensuite à incuber cette plaque d'incubation jusqu'à ce que la présence ou l'absence de la substance biologique soit déterminée.
