Abstract

Cette invention concerne des catalyseurs solides du type superacide sur support, constitués par des oxydes/oxyhydroxydes modifiés par des anions et provenant de métaux du groupe IV, tels que le hafnium (Hf), l'étain (Sn), le titane (Ti) ou le zirconium (Zr). Ces oxydes/oxyhydroxydes sont formés par précipitation sur des supports d'oxydes métalliques tels que l'alumine, la silice ou leurs mélanges ayant une surface spécifique initiale de 100 - 500 m?2¿/gm et ensuite ils sont modifiés par des anions, par l'addition de molybdate (MoO¿4?), de phosphate (PO¿4?), de séléniate (SeO¿4?), de sulfate (SO¿4?) ou de tungstate (WO¿4?). Le catalyseur sur support contient en outre comme activateur, un métal courant tel que Co, Ni et Pd, ou un métal noble tel que Pt, Rh ou Ru, pour améliorer la résistance du catalyseur contre la désactivation. Ces catalyseurs solides du type superacide sur support sont préparés par la précipitation d'hydroxydes de métaux du groupe IV sur le support minéral, suivie du traitement anionique, de l'addition du métal activateur/stabilisant et de la calcination à 500 - 650 ·C. Un catalyseur solide de type superacide sur support contient normalement 70 - 90 % en poids de matériau de support, 5 - 20 % en poids d'oxyde de métal de transition actif, 4 - 8 % de groupes anioniques et 0,05 - 5 % en poids du métal additionnel commun ou noble servant d'activateur/stabilisant. Le catalyseur résultant possède une surface spécifique finale élevée de 100 - 450 m?2¿/gm, et une activité catalytique élevée pour différentes réactions d'alkylation et de conversion d'hydrocarbures, comme par exemple l'alkylation de gaz de raffinerie pour produire une essence à haut indice d'octane, le cracking et l'hydroisomérisation de paraffines à chaînes longues et la conversion de déchets de plastique et de cires/huiles de faible valeur en différents produits chimiques et en huiles lubrifiantes à forte valeur ajoutée.
