Abstract

On détache des dalles ou blocs rocheux (10, 17) de rochers plus importants (10) ou de formations rocheuses (11), en réduisant la fissuration des dalles ou blocs rompus, par percement de trous de sonde (13, 14, 15, 16) le long des lignes de rupture voulues, mise en place d'un cordon détonant de mineur (20) dans lesdits trous, lesquels sont ensuite remplis d'une composition pour transmission et modération d'énergie explosive (21) et, enfin, amorçage du cordon détonant (20). Ladite composition (21) est de préférence un gel à matériau absorbeur d'énergie (22), du type microsphères ou microbulles de gaz en suspension dans le matériau. On peut aussi réaliser des ouvertures dans le rocher en perçant au mois un trou de sonde à l'endroit de l'ouverture souhaitée et en perçant une pluralité de trous de sonde le long du pourtour de l'ouverture souhaitée. On amorce les explosifs placés dans le trou percé à l'endroit voulu, pour rompre le rocher dans l'ouverture, et le cordon détonant de mineur (20) mis en place dans les trous de sonde percés sur le pourtour de l'ouverture souhaitée et remplis de la composition susmentionnée (21) est amorcé pour rompre le rocher à l'intérieur du pourtour en question, sans ébranler la stabilité du rocher à l'extérieur dudit pourtour.
