Abstract

Médicaments visant les anomalies du comportement alimentaire liées à l'anorexie mentale. Bien qu'il soit devenu habituel d'utiliser des tranquillisants, etc., pour traiter les symptômes psychiques propres à l'anorexie mentale caractérisée par des anomalies du comportement alimentaire, telles que le refus des aliments, les vomissements provoqués et le fait de manger en cachette, les résultats obtenus sont médiocres. L'administration des médicaments ci-dessus, c'est-à-dire de préparations à base d'hormone somatotrope humaine, permet de rendre l'envie de manger spontanée aux sujets qui ne pouvaient être nourris que par des moyens passifs, tels qu'éducation alimentaire forcée ou alimentation par sonde nasale. Ces médicaments sont particulièrement efficaces contre les troubles du comportement alimentaire de l'anorexie mentale basée apparemment sur une hyperactivité au niveau du système central de sécrétion du facteur de libération de l'hormone somatotrope (GH-RF).
