Abstract
Dispositif médical de déplacement et d'exercice facilitant le levage et servant à empêcher des malades affaiblis ou handicapés de se blesser ou de tomber. On peut l'utiliser pendant le transfert et la marche dans des pièces ou des corridors d'hôpital, des unités de physiothérapie, des maternités, ainsi qu'à la maison. Ce dispositif permet d'accéder à une chaise, à un fauteuil roulant, à une commode, à un lit d'hôpital, à un ensemble de poids, à une table de physiothérapie, à un tapis roulant, à un vélo fixe d'entraînement par exemple. De plus, ce dispositif peut porter simultanément un réservoir portable d'oxygène (26), une pompe intraveineuse, des bouteilles ou des sachets de liquide intraveineux (25), un sac de cathéter de Foley (27), des sacs de drainage chirurgical, un récipient de drainage pulmonaire, un moniteur cardiaque (18) ou d'autres ensembles similaires. Ce dispositif comprend un harnais corporel (3) capable de soutenir le poids entier du malade et, par conséquent, d'empêcher la chute et des blessures occasionnées au malade pendant que ledit dispositif est en cours d'utilisation. Ce dispositif permet également d'exécuter des exercices de flexion et d'extension des extrémités supérieures, et des exercices de mouvement des quadriceps et de déplacement des genoux par l'intermédiaire d'une courroie amovible (15) d'ancrage au pied.
