Abstract

Cette invention a trait à un modèle anthropomorphe (10) permettant d'établir avec précision l'existence de certaines forces dans un matériau souple, du type couverture cutanée humaine, recouvrant le modèle. Ce modèle anthropomorphe est capable de simuler les caractéristiques dynamiques majeures d'un humain. Il est représentatif, de façon adaptable, de régions spécifiques du corps humain pour ce qui est de la constitution morphologique, et comporte des matériaux souples simulant la peau humaine, en l'occurrence les régions cutanée et sous-cutanée, ces matériaux le recouvrant, en partie du moins. Il est également doté de capteurs (32, 33, 34) situés dans les matériaux susmentionnés et servant à mesurer certains paramètres physiques, tels que la pression et des forces de cisaillement et de friction s'exerçant sur lui, ainsi que d'organes de détection de signaux émis par les capteurs précités et ce, afin d'évaluer avec précision, soit la pression, soit les forces de cisaillement et de friction présentes à l'intérieur desdits matériaux. On peut utiliser ce modèle anthropomorphe pour tester l'efficacité de structures de soutien, s'agissant de prévention et de thérapie de l'escarre de décubitus, de plaies de pression ou de situations apparentées.
