Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de purification du plasma sanguin traités selon les techniques conventionnelles. Cette purification vise à éliminer sensiblement tous les leucocytes résiduels tout en conservant des débits utiles convenant au traitement de quantités de plasma médicalement utiles. A cet effet, on emploie un filtre jetable thermo-stérilisable (1) mettant en oeuvre, dans une enveloppe commune, un ou plusieurs préfiltres en épaisseur (29) et au moins une membrane hydrophile microporeuse intermédiaire (25a) suivie d'au moins une membrane hydrophile microporeuse finale (25b) dont le calibre des pores est inférieur au calibre des pores de la membrane intermédiaire.
