Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé pour collecter des articles en feuille, détourner ou faire avancer lesdits articles en feuille collectés, les rassembler et faire encore avancer les articles en feuilles avancés à un moment prédéterminé. Dans les appareils de traitement d'articles classiques on utilise des portes de détournement à solénoïde, des dispositifs à galets/consoles d'arrêt, des transporteurs à bande à courroie de réglage à ergots, et des transporteurs à chaîne métallique/goupilles poussoirs qui limitent les vitesses de traitement des articles et augmentent la complexité de la machine ainsi que l'usure. L'invention concerne un appareil de collecte (10), détournement et rassemblement de documents et un procédé pour traiter des articles en feuille dans des premier et deuxième étages (20, 20') sans que les dispositifs susmentionnés soient utilisés. Le premier étage (20) reçoit les articles en feuille (SA) avancés jusqu'à celui-ci et collectés dans ce dernier, et comporte un premier mécanisme de transport (22A, 22B) conçu pour détourner sélectivement les articles en feuille dans un sens de détournement opposé au sens de transport des articles en feuille. Le premier mécanisme de transport peut également être conçu pour faire avancer sélectivement les articles en feuille prélevés dans le premier étage et envoyé dans le deuxième étage. Dans le deuxième étage, les articles en feuille peuvent être traités et conservés séparément pendant un certain temps, jusqu'à ce qu'ils puissent être avancés depuis le deuxième étage par un second mécanisme de transport (22A', 22B'). Les premier et deuxième mécanismes de transport comprennent de préférence des chaînes en plastique dotées d'ergots en plastique (LA1-LB4'). Les chaînes des premier et second mécanismes de transport peuvent être mises en rotation simultanément par un moteur (M, M') et des engrenages (36A, 36B) ou des poulies associés.
