Abstract

Cette invention a trait à des compositions polymères hétéromorphes se caractérisant par le fait qu'elles comprennent, (a), un squelette linéaire homogène ou sensiblement linéaire interpolymère éthylique/ alpha -oléfinique et (b), une ramification rattachée au squelette, cette ramification consistant en un homopolymère éthylique ou en un interpolymère éthylique/ alpha -oléfinique d'une densité supérieure d'au moins 0,004 g/cm<3> à celle du squelette. Le polymère du squelette, si ce n'est celui de la ramification, peut être, éventuellement, fonctionnalisé afin de favoriser l'adhérence à des surfaces polaires. Les compositions hétéromorphes de l'invention ont des températures de service supérieures. Cette invention concerne également un procédé de production des compositions polymères hétéromorphes susmentionnées.
