Abstract

L'invention concerne un projectile à base de poudre (12) pour munitions de petit calibre. Ce projectile comprend une chemise (14) pourvue d'une extrémité ouverte (22), un noyau (26) placé à l'intérieur de cette chemise, à proximité de l'extrémité fermée (18) de cette dernière, et un disque d'arrêt résistant à la chaleur et à la pression (30), disposé distalement par rapport audit noyau, à proximité de l'extrémité ouverte de ladite chemise. Une partie (34) de la longueur de cette chemise, au niveau de cette extrémité ouverte (22), est pliée vers l'intérieur pour recouvrir en partie le disque d'arrêt (30), de manière à entrer en contact et à recouvrir une partie de ce disque d'arrêt, verrouillant ce dernier ainsi que le noyau placé à l'intérieur de la chemise. Le disque est ainsi maintenu en position et le noyau protégé de la chaleur et de la pression dues à l'amorçage et à la mise à feu de la poudre noire. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de ce projectile.
