Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement de bandes de papier soie à gonflant élevé consistant à former une bande humide, à sécher ladite bande, à enrouler la bande séchée de façon à former une pluralité de bobines mères (R), à dérouler les bobines mères en transmettant un couple par l'intermédiaire du centre ou des extrémités de la bobine, à déplacer partiellement le rouleau déroulé de façon à effectuer un raccordement avec une bobine mère suivante, et à rembobiner la bande ainsi raccordée. Selon des modes de réalisation particuliers, l'organe de transmission de couple (20) comprend des mécanismes de serrage latéraux s'accouplant uniquement aux surfaces d'extrémité des bobines mères. Selon d'autres modes de réalisation, un procédé automatisé hors ligne destiné à effectuer un raccordement des bandes de papier soie de différentes bobines mères utilise une unité de finissage (23) qui percute chaque bande sensiblement en continu pendant le déroulement pour raccorder ainsi lesdites bandes.
