Abstract

L'invention concerne un matériau de distribution pour produits d'hygiène personnelle. Ce matériau est une texture qui, dans un test de capillarité horizontale, draine des menstrues artificielles sur une distance d'environ 1 pouce en moins d'1,5 minutes environ. Les matériaux qui satisfont à ce critère de performance présentent généralement une mauvaise répartition dimensionnelle des pores avec un pourcentage élevé (habituellement supérieur à 50 pour-cent) de pores ayant des diamètres compris entre 80 et 400 microns et une densité inférieure à environ 0,15 g/cc. L'invention concerne en outre un système pour produit d'hygiène personnelle comprenant une couche de distribution/rétention et une couche formant une garniture, dans laquelle chaque couche présente un rapport de longueur de tache égal ou inférieur à 0,5 et la couche de distribution/rétention présente un profil de saturation égal ou inférieur à 4.
