Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de chauffer une bande de matière fibreuse sur un crible d'égouttage (6), selon lequel de l'eau chaude ou très chaude est appliquée sur la bande (11), qu'elle imprègne. Cette invention se caractérise principalement en ce qu'en outre, de la vapeur est acheminée dans un espace (8',16) fermé, commun ou immédiatement adjacent. L'invention concerne par ailleurs un dispositif permettant de mettre ledit procédé en oeuvre. Il est prévu de plus une arrivée de mélange vapeur-air (14) située dans le capot (8') disposé au-dessus de l'arrivée d'eau chaude ou très chaude (12,13) ou se raccordant directement dessus.
