Abstract

Procédé servant à induire la production d'anticorps se fixant à la protéine de transfert d'ester de cholestéryle (CETP). Ce procédé consiste à: (a) immuniser un mammifère au moyen d'une inoculation contenant une molécule d'ADN de recombinaison comprenant une séquence d'ADN contenant (i) une séquence codant un immunogène de CETP relié à (ii) une séquence de promoteur commandant l'expression de l'immunogène de CETP, la molécule d'ADN de recombinaison étant dissoute ou dispersée dans un véhicule; (b) maintenir le mammifère en état d'immunisation pendant une durée suffisante pour induire la production d'anticorps se fixant à CETP et diminuer, de préférence, le transfert d'esters de cholestéryle depuis HDL où le sang du mammifère lui-même contient CETP. Immunogènes, inoculums, segments d'ADN et vecteurs de molécules d'ADN de recombinaison utiles pour mettre l'invention en application.
