Abstract

Afin de permettre à plusieurs utilisateurs (100, 101, 102) prenant part à une conférence téléphonique via Internet (105) d'accéder et de discuter sur les mêmes éléments de données dans une base de données (145), il est possible pour un utilisateur (100) de commander les explorateurs du Web des autres utilisateurs (101, 102) par l'intermédiaire d'un serveur (170). L'interface utilisateur de commande (100) émet un signal contenant une commande de recherche vers le serveur (170) qui transmet les signaux de commande de recherche aux autres utilisateurs (101, 102), ce qui provoque la transmission d'une commande de recherche vers la base de données d'informations (145) de manière à rechercher un élément spécifique de données. Ce système permet aux utilisateurs de synchroniser leur accès avec les données, garantit ainsi que tous les utilisateurs effectuent des recherches sur la même version et ne donne le code d'accès nécessaire (url) pour accéder aux informations qu'à un seul utilisateur.
