Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un appareil et un procédé pour charger en continu différents types de cartons avec des articles fournis à l'appareil, à partir d'un flux d'alimentation d'une machine d'emballage. Cet appareil (50) comprend un moyen de transport pour fournir de manière séquentielle des cartons successifs (10) à partir d'un poste d'alimentation, et pour charger lesdits cartons en les abaissant sur au moins un article. Le moyen de transport comprend plusieurs moyens de mise en prise avec les cartons (64) fixés sur des chaînes sans fin correspondantes (52,54). Les cartons sont ainsi maintenus entre des moyens de mise en prise avec les cartons synchronisés. Les cartons sont ainsi maintenus dans leur état d'assemblage avant leur déplacement en aval. Un moyen de réglage est prévu pour régler une desdites chaînes sans fin par rapport à l'autre chaîne sans fin et pour recevoir un type de carton différent.
