Abstract

L'invention concerne un outil de pénétration (38) utilisé pour donner forme à l'extrémité supérieure de l'os tibial (40) en vue d'une mise en place cimentée du composant tibial (10). L'outil de pénétration (38) présente une plaque de base (42) montée sur un manche (44) dont un bord de coupe (46) protubérant vers l'extérieur adopte une configuration s'ajustant à la paroi (16) de restriction de l'écoulement sur le composant de prothèse (1). Le bord de coupe (46) présent une hauteur correspondant, de préférence, à la différence entre la hauteur de la paroi (16) et des entretoises (14). Le bord de coupe (46) coopère avec la plaque de base (42) pour définir une cavité peu profonde (48) qui peut éventuellement servir à recevoir une quantité d'os-ciment.
