Abstract
Un parquet composite renforcé de fibres est conçu pour les trains routiers qui évoluent dans des conditions défavorables, pour le dessus en raison de la lourdeur des charges transportées et pour le dessous en raison de l'eau qui y est projetée lorsqu'il pleut. Le parquet composite comprend du bois lamellé collé sur chant, qui repose sur une mince couche de plastique renforcé de fibres. La face supérieure du parquet composite est identique à celle d'un parquet de bois lamellé classique. La sous-couche de plastique renforcé de fibres se compose de fibres de verre et/ou de fibres de carbone incrustées dans une résine polymérique, telle que de la résine époxyde, phénolique, ester vinylique, polypropylénique ou polyamédique. Le renforcement de fibres est conçu pour rehausser les propriétés mécaniques du parquet dans les directions longitudinale et transversale du plancher. Le plastique renforcé de fibres accroît la résistance à la fatigue du parquet composite et empêche l'eau de pénétrer dans la remorque entre les lames du parquet.
