Abstract

Cette invention a trait à des méthodes permettant d'effectuer une identification et une validation, éventuellement unidirectionnelles, ne pouvant pas faire l'objet d'une répudiation et sans suivi, méthodes dans le cadre desquelles les dispositifs d'identification n'exigent pas un accès à des bases de données relatives à une identification d'entités à distance. Une entité arbitre, caractérise, de préférence, un algorithme spécifique de chaque entité à distance et le diffuse. Un dispositif d'identification (ou un système d'exploitation d'un tel dispositif) attribue, de préférence, à chaque entité, un algorithme pouvant être inversé. Chaque fois qu'une entité à distance s'identifie elle-même auprès d'un dispositif d'identification, elle applique son algorithme généré par l'arbitre, soit à une variable à base temporelle (identification unidirectionnelle), soit à un procédé d'identification fourni par un dispositif d'identification, calculant un premier résultat. L'entité à distance applique ensuite l'algorithme pouvant être inversé au procédé d'identification/variable à base temporelle, à ses données d'identification et au premier résultat établi, calculant un second résultat envoyé au dispositif d'identification. Celui-ci peut alors appliquer l'algorithme inverse au second résultat, calculant un procédé d'identification/variable à base temporelle, des données d'identification et un premier résultat supposés. Le dispositif d'identification peut alors comparer le procédé d'identification/variable à base temporelle au procédé d'identification/variable à base temporelle supposé. S'il y a concordance (avec une certaine marge de tolérance pour la variable à base temporelle), le dispositif d'identification transmet à l'arbitre, le premier résultat, les données d'identification et le procédé d'identification supposés. L'arbitre applique alors l'algorithme particulier attribué à cette entité à distance et l'applique au procédé d'identification/variable à base temporelle, calculant, de ce fait, un premier résultat correct. L'arbitre peut ensuite comparer le premier résultat correct au premier résultat opposé. S'il y a concordance (avec une certaine marge de tolérance pour la variable à base temporelle), l'arbitre est à même de confirmer au dispositif d'identification l'authenticité de l'identification.
